B. Rachel’s Dream Wedding Dress With Purple Silk Accents
I wasn’t the girl who grew up dreaming of the perfect big day, and when we got engaged, my fiance (now husband) and I were drawn into the vast world of wedding planning, and my priority, of course, was, Dress up.
Finding Caroline was the answer to questions I didn’t even know I had, and the whole process, from first contact to picking up the dress, was just perfect.
Caroline’s website was so beautiful and welcoming, which sounds strange to say about a website. However, if you are reading this and planning your own wedding, it is safe to imagine that there are tons of really terrible websites out there! It really opened my eyes to what was possible – it also made me realize that I had no idea what I was looking for and that I needed professional help.
Fortunately, that help came in the form of the fabulous Caroline Arthur. I scheduled my first meeting with Caroline for mid-July 2014 – 15 months before the wedding, and she suggested that we start a panel on Pinterest to get some ideas on what I was looking for in a dress so that we could start somewhere when we met.
A few weeks before my first meeting with Caroline, I sent her the dressing table so that she could reflect on my style and preferences, and sent it with a note that I didn’t think would be very useful in what appeared to be a wide range of different styles to like . However, when she met Caroline, she pointed out that there were some similar themes running through the photos, and then, unconsciously, I managed to create the starting point for The Dress.
Caroline’s studio is a calm and peaceful place and the sheer joy of how she works really makes you feel like a princess! The funniest part – on a day that was incredibly fun – were the different elements that made the dress really unique and all mine. A lot of turning and measuring later, the decision was made along with Caroline’s statement: “I never made a dress like this” – I knew I had one.
I couldn’t imagine doing it any other way. It was such a personal, engaging and fun process that I can’t imagine walking into a store and taking something off the shelf!
Caroline is an absolute angel and I couldn’t imagine my wedding without her influence. So I can only recommend it to anyone I know who is getting married. Meet Caroline, be enchanted by her enthusiasm, and you will have an absolutely fabulous wedding!
