Wedding Dresses Ideas For Every Season – Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring

Get inspired by the seasons with our favorite wedding dresses and dress ideas for spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Wedding dresses and dress ideas for winter

Add a little glamour with glamorous dresses that sparkle like freshly fallen snow…

Rich fabrics: warm-up to velvet, satin, brocade and heavy silk
Add a cape: If your wedding dress is sleeveless or strapless, add a wrap, shrug or cape in white or one of your wedding colors.
Winter white: Dress the bride, the florist, and the ring bearer in winter white for an elegant and clean look.
Black tie: The formal dress for an elegant winter wedding is always a classic

Spring wedding dresses and gowns

Embrace the outside with floral elements and colorful accents…

Loosen up: you can loosen up the dress code a bit, especially if the wedding is held outdoors.
Relax Lighter fabrics like lace or cotton for a perfect spring look.
Wedding dress: Add a little color with a sash or detailed embroidery
Bridesmaid’s dresses: The first cakes are a spring classic. Keep yours fresh by choosing a color and allowing each of your maids to choose a different shade. Or go the other direction with a stronger turquoise, Fuschia or mango. 2. Avoid satin shoes – they don’t hold up well in the spring rain
The boys: They will look appropriate for the season with brown suits, colored shirts, and ties. A simple tuxedo is always enough for a formal dinner.

Summer dresses and wedding dresses

Think of airy dresses with airy silhouettes and light fabrics for a summer affair…

Lighter fabrics: for summer wedding dresses think organdie, linen, chiffon, crepe, georgette, or any lightweight silk. Linen bridesmaid dresses, with buttonholes or with a sucker will make your girls feel comfortable. Dispense with tuxedos and dress the boys in traditional Cape Cod-style khakis, blue sports jackets, and colorful ties like Vineyard Vines or morning suits for a more formal affair.
Simple silhouettes: choose a nightgown or a sheath instead of a bulky ball gown. Keep your veil simple too – look for airy, not bulky silhouettes.
Dare to go barefoot: A casual outdoor setting can be enhanced with a barefoot bachelorette party.
Add color: Summer is a time to add some color to your outfit.
