A skirt that Lights up, Making a Christmas Costume, Part One

For more information and a detailed write up on this project, check out the links below!

I have a blog post that goes very in depth about making this, it can be read here: https://doxiequeen1.wordpress.com/2014/12/04/making-a-christmas-angel-costume-part-one/

I also have a blog post about making the petticoat that goes underneath it: https://doxiequeen1.wordpress.com/2014/12/03/making-a-ruffly-petticoat/

I used 12 meters of warm LED lights. They are battery powered, the battery packs are sewn into pockets in the back of the dress. I purchased the lights on amazon!

It’s made from tulle, organza, wreath mesh, and garlands/ christmas decorations from Michaels.

If you are interested in seeing more of my work or contacting me, I’ll leave links to my various sites below!
